There’s fact. And there’s opinion.
And then there’s ‘the people of the internet’ who say ‘boneless wings aren’t real wings’,
who seem pretty convinced they’ve got the facts right.

But at what cost? Is their smugness worth missing out on
Popeyes new tender all-white-meat Boneless Wings?

Are they willing to deny themselves these hand battered and breaded,
never frozen beauties tossed in the same 5 delicious sauces we use for our regular wings?
Let’s find out how stubborn they really are.
Because we think we have the wings to turn them into Boneless Believers.

Our first convert: The notorious
Boneless Wing denier, Jimmy O Yang

Then, we broke X

Before our launch, we scoured the internet,
searching through countless social media posts and comments
from people expressing their distaste for boneless wings.

To our amazement, we found more than 63,248 posts
filled with complaints and criticism.

In response, we created a ‘Boneless Bot’—a clever little tool
designed to engage with these posts.

The bot invited skeptics to give our new boneless wings a try, offering them a special ‘redemption’ code as an incentive.

For 48 hours, the bot tirelessly reached out to
16,491 self-proclaimed Boneless Deniers, extending
the offer before we were shut down.

Despite the short window, our #BonelessBeliever campaign
on X (formerly Twitter) made a significant impact, generating 53.5K mentions and
reaching a potential audience of 5.05 billion people.
